| Description | Coalgate High School is seeking a passionate and dedicated Agricultural Education Teacher to join our two-teacher team for the upcoming school year. We are looking for an enthusiastic individual who will inspire and equip students with real-world agricultural skills while actively contributing to the success of our FFA chapter and overall ag program. Coalgate's Ag program is firmly established and thriving. |
| Required Qualifications | *Bachelor’s degree in Agricultural Education or a related field *Valid Oklahoma teaching certification in Agricultural Education (or in the active process of obtaining) |
| Preferred Qualifications | *Knowledge of modern agriculture practices, animal science, plant science, ag mechanics, and ag business *Strong classroom management and communication skills *Ability to lead and continue growing an active and competitive FFA program *Willingness to supervise SAEs (Supervised Agricultural Experiences) and travel for contests, conventions, and events *Experience with welding, small engine repair, or other hands-on ag mechanics is a plus *Positive, student-centered attitude with a commitment to career and technical education |
