| Description | Maysville Public Schools is seeking a dedicated, student-centered educator to serve as the High School Girls' Basketball Coach and a classroom teacher in History or Science. Maysville is a competitive Class B athletic program. Coaching Responsibilities: lead and manage the High School Girls Basketball program (grades 9–12), develop practice plans, game strategies, and off-season programs Teaching Responsibilities: teach assigned secondary History or Science courses, plan and deliver engaging, standards-aligned instruction, maintain positive classroom management and student relationships, and collaborate with faculty and administration. |
| Required Qualifications | Applicants must hold a valid Oklahoma Teaching Certificate in History (Social Studies) or Science and demonstrate the ability to teach secondary-level coursework aligned to Oklahoma Academic Standards. Candidates should demonstrate strong leadership, organization, and communication skills and serve as a positive role model for students and athletes. A CDL is required or the willingness to obtain one; the district will assist the selected candidate in pursuing CDL certification if needed. |
