| Description | The Oklahoma School of Science and Mathematics (OSSM) is an academic emphasis, math and science emphasis, two-year, tuition-free, residential high school located in Oklahoma City and available to any qualified Oklahoma student. OSSM is characterized by rigor that produces elite rankings. Recently, OSSM was ranked the second-best high school in the nation. In addition to the residential school in Oklahoma City, OSSM also provides a half-day program at sites outside the OKC metro. These sites are called regional centers and typically offer calculus and physics courses that students can take while maintaining their home high school affiliation. |
| Required Qualifications | 1. A distinguished record of professional success. 2. An enthusiastic and inspiring teaching approach with a student-centered mindset. 3. Experience teaching pre-calculus and calculus preferred. 4. Excellent interpersonal skills as exemplified in working with faculty, staff, parents, and students. |
