Speech, Debate, Drama Classroom Teacher

Responsibilities: The High School Speech, Drama, Debate Sponsor shall:
Coach competitive speech team for contest. Take to contest.
Coach debate squad for contest. Take to contests.
Direct all-school play.
Assist vocal music and band directors with the school musical.
Direct traveling one-act play to elementary schools.
Keep current on which students are not eligible to participate in out of school activities and OSSAA sanctioned activities.
Supervise students during rehearsals and performances.
Collect permission slips for trips.
Make travel and room arrangements for school trips.
Supervise students on trips.
Make purchases in accordance to school policy and within the allocated budget.
Required Qualifications Must have valid Oklahoma Teaching Certificate in the area of Speech/Drama/Debate PK-12
Preferred Qualifications Masters Degree, but not required
