| Required Qualifications | • Master's degree in education, public administration, business administration, or a related field. • In lieu of a master's degree, a bachelor's degree with 12 or more years of qualifying executive experience may be considered. • Minimum of eight years of progressive executive leadership experience including at least three years with direct responsibility for multi-division operations, personnel management, and budget oversight. • Methods of organization and management of public administration, of agency policies and procedures, of the legislative process and of federal and state laws and regulations relating to administration of assigned programs. • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with others; to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing; to exercise good judgment in analyzing situations and making decisions; and to organize and present facts and opinions. • Commitment to improving and advancing the mission of the Oklahoma CareerTech System. • Extensive knowledge of the educational system, including career and technology education. • Ability to establish excellent relationships with stakeholders. • Proven experience in developing performance focused partnerships. • Professional image and the ability to be a spokesperson for the system to the mass media. |
