Description

The Southwest Kansas Area Cooperative District (SKACD) is a school district that only provides special education services. We partner with 14 school districts in Southwest Kansas to provide special education team members to those school districts. Our services cover roughly 1/8 of the geographic state of Kansas.

This is a general job posting for all special education positions. Special education teachers, speech-language pathologists, school psychologists, occupational/physical therapists, special education administrators, etc., may apply using this job posting. Specific job career openings can be found on our website at skacd.com/jobs.

SKACD is based in Dodge City, KS (1 hour North of the Oklahoma Panhandle). Our covered region extends to the KS/OK border. We already employ students and staff from OK. We welcome out-of-state applicants. Starting salaries for KS schools average around $5,000 to $7,000 higher than OK starting salaries.

Our school district provides special education services to our member school districts with total district enrollment of less than 200 to over 7,000. Large or small, we serve them all.
