| Description | Quinton Public Schools is accepting applications for the position of Superintendent of Schools for the 2023-2024 school year. Quinton is located minutes from Lake Eufaula & 35 miles NE of McAlester, in beautiful Southeast Oklahoma. The school serves approximately 400 students from diverse backgrounds. Quinton has 38 certified employees and 18 support staff. Points of pride: Quinton is building a new $3.99M Cafeteria; has competitive athletic teams, including football (2d rd playoffs 2022) & Girls Basketball (State Tournament 2023) has an award winning band, a very active Ag Ed/FFA program, and an award winning Speech & Debate program (state runner-up dramatic duet 2023). Knowledge of Oklahoma Education system, laws and regulations. Be a visionary leader and be able to pass vision along to district and community. Be visible in all areas of district. Continue moving district forward by, e.g., hiring quality talent, setting high expectations of staff & students, & assessing & establishing school culture |
