| Description | Harding Fine Arts Middle School is now hiring 5th and 6th grade teachers for the 2024/2025 school year. This position requires a passionate educator who can foster creativity, critical thinking, and interdisciplinary connections within the classroom. |
| Required Qualifications | Responsibilities: Develop and implement lesson plans that integrate art forms (visual arts, music, theater, dance, etc.) into core subjects like English, math, science, and social studies. Cultivate a supportive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages students to explore their creative potential and express themselves through various art mediums. Differentiate instruction to accommodate diverse learning styles, abilities, and interests, ensuring accessibility and inclusivity for all students. Assess student learning through various methods, including project-based assessments, performances, presentations, and written evaluations. Collaborate with other teachers, arts specialists, and staff to coordinate interdisciplinary projects, performances, and events that showcase students' artistic achievements. Communicate regularly with parents/guardians regarding student progress, upcoming projects, and opportunities for involvement in the arts-integrated curriculum. Stay updated on current educational trends, teaching methodologies, and arts-related developments to continually enhance teaching practices. |

Familiarity with educational technology tools and software related to arts integration. Previous involvement in extracurricular arts programs or community arts initiatives. |
