| Description | The Eastern Oklahoma County Technology Center Board of Education is seeking qualified applicants for the position of Superintendent. Applications will be accepted February 20, 2024 through April 5, 2024 at 4:00 p.m. CST. The Superintendent serves as the chief executive officer to the board of education and is responsible for advising the board on all matters relating to the district including board policies, district finances, human resources, technical program and services delivery. The Superintendent is also responsible for all District operations and ensuring compliance with District policies, Oklahoma Career and Technical Education rules, and state and federal laws. |
| Required Qualifications | Candidates will be evaluated on professional merits, with emphasis on the following criteria: *Minimum of Master's Degree. *Hold or Qualify of Valid Oklahoma Superintendent's Certificate. *Hold or Qualify for Career and Technology Education Administrator's Credential. *Minimum of Five Years Senior Educational Leadership Experience. *Proven Record of Financial Management Experience. *Demonstrate Knowledge of Workforce Development and Delivery of Services to Business and Industry. *Documented Evidence of Community and Public Relations Activities to Promote Development of Relationships with Area Communities and Businesses. *Possesses the Ability to Manage a Leadership Team to Develop and Implement Programs and Services Leading to Student Career and Personal Success. *Provide Evidence of Ability to Develop a Fiscally Responsible Human Relations Program to Attract and Retain Quality Personnel. |
