Description

The Middle School Science Teacher is responsible for planning, organizing, and delivering instruction to a classroom of middle school science students. The teacher will create a positive and engaging learning environment, and will work to ensure that all students meet or exceed academic expectations. The teacher will also collaborate with other teachers, administrators, and parents to provide the best possible education for all students.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Plan, organize, and deliver instruction in accordance with the Oklahoma Academic Standards
- Create a positive and engaging learning environment
- Assess student learning and progress
- Collaborate with other teachers, administrators, and parents to provide the best possible education for all students
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of student progress
- Participate in professional development activities
Required Qualifications - Bachelor's degree in Science Education or a related field
- Oklahoma Teaching Certificate
- Strong knowledge of the Oklahoma Academic Standards
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Ability to manage a classroom effectively
- Ability to work with students of all abilities
