The Academy of Seminole is seeking a highly qualified and dedicated 6th and 7th grade teacher to join our team! As a 6th and 7th grade teacher, you will be responsible for teaching history and English to our students, providing a supportive and engaging learning environment that fosters academic success and personal growth.

**Responsibilities:**

* Teach history and English to both 6th and 7th grade students
* Develop and implement lesson plans that meet the needs of diverse learners
* Assess student progress and adjust instruction to meet individual needs
* Communicate with parents and guardians regarding student progress
* Collaborate with colleagues to develop curriculum and improve instructional practices
* Participate in school-wide events and activities to support student engagement and motivation

**Preferred:**

* Bachelor's degree
* Oklahoma teaching certification
* Strong knowledge of state and national standards for history and English
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues to achieve shared goals
