This position would be fostering these 4 principles by helping students fall in love and excel in music as our Assistant Band Director

Specific Duties Are:

Potential of Leading or Assisting in our Choir Program is preferred, though NOT required.
Assisting Marching Band, including competitive marching season, early morning rehearsals, evening practices, athletic events, contests, parades, and any need of the organization which may arise.
Assisting in Concert and Jazz Band Seasons and activities.
Supporting the Band Director in growing and nourishing the program.
Freedom to create other elective course offerings when asked at the high school or middle school
Plans and delivers a curriculum that fosters student critical thinking.
Build strong relationships with students, teachers, and families
Loves students and is excited about helping students find hope for their future.
Continuously seeks feedback and opportunities for growth, learns from mistakes, and takes steps based upon feedback
Demonstrates a no-nonsense nurturer classroom management style.
