Position Summary
The individual in this position will develop, implement, and manage a comprehensive academic developmental guidance program available for all students grades 9-12 in the district. An individual in this position is expected to perform additional job-related responsibilities and duties throughout the facility as assigned and/or as necessary.
Master's Degree in school counseling K-12.
Experience in the role of a secondary academic school counselor.
Demonstrated success working with and through people at all levels of the organization in establishing goals, objectives, and action plans to produce expected results.
Knowledge and experience in scheduling, course coding, and assessments.
Ability to be flexible and open to change.
Possess a good-natured demeanor willing to cooperate with students, administrators, staff, and parents.
Ability to present and speak in front of large groups.
Positive communication skills are a must.
Evaluation
Performance of this job will be evaluated in accordance with Oklahoma Teaching and Learning for certified personnel.
