Description

Pocola Public Schools is looking for a dynamic leader for our band program:

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced instrumental music educator to serve as the Band Director for Pocola Public Schools. The successful candidate will have a strong background in music education, excellent leadership skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with others.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop and implement comprehensive instrumental music programs(competition, marching, jazz or other ideas)
• Provide instructional leadership and support to music educators
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure alignment with district goals and objectives
• Manage budgets and resources
• Communicate effectively with parents, students, and community members
Required Qualifications Valid OK Teaching License (or willingness to obtain).
Endorsement in Music (K-12 or 5-12, or willingness to obtain).
Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
Passion for music education and student development.
Ability to collaborate with colleagues, administrators, students, and families to maintain and grow a successful program.
