Position Summary: Creating a flexible elementary grade program and a class environment favorable to learning and personal growth; establishing effective rapport with pupils; motivating pupils to develop skills, attitudes and knowledge needed to provide a good foundation for upper elementary grade education, in accordance with each pupil’s ability; and establishing good relationships with parents and with other staff members.
|Required Qualifications||Oklahoma Teaching Certification in appropriate subject or subjects. Or Alternative Teaching Certification as approved by Oklahoma State Department of Education.

Copy of your college transcript, Oklahoma teacher's certificate, and out-of-state teacher's certificate if applicable.
When the completed application is submitted, the references you name will be sent immediately.
When a vacancy exists, the file of qualified applicants will be reviewed. If you are selected to interview, every effort will be made to give you as much prior notice as possible. Be sure that we have current telephone numbers at all times. At the interview, the supervisor and key staff members will be present. A second interview may be scheduled if necessary. Only the applicant selected for the vacancy will be notified.
If an applicant is not selected for a position, the application will be returned to the active file for future consideration. Once you have submitted your application in a job category, it will remain on file for the current school year.

A National Criminal History Record Check is required of every employee. Background checks are $59 and are the responsibility of the employee. Information on how to obtain a background check will be given by the Human Resources office after you have been hired for a position.
If you are selected for the job for which you applied, you will receive a phone call from the Human Resources office regarding the selection. If you accept the job offer, an appointment will be set up for you to complete some paperwork for your personnel file and payroll office. Please bring your driver's license and social security card.
