Description

Newcastle Middle School has an opening for a certified school counselor. Experience planning and providing for group counseling, character development and guidance lessons is a plus. Applicants must have the ability to contribute to an already accomplished faculty, be actively involved with school and community events; and be willing to engage students and parents in the learning process.
Duties will include:
SEL Training/Groups
State Testing
Academic Counseling
504 Coordinator
Club Sponsorships Available
Student Scheduling
Crisis Intervention
Student/Teacher/Parent Collaboration and Community Outreach
Required Qualifications Successful applicants must hold or be eligible to hold a valid Oklahoma School Counselor Certificate.
