Position: Junior High/High School Computer Teacher
Location: Deer Creek-Lamont Public Schools, Lamont, Oklahoma
Start Date: 2025-2026 School Year

DCLA Public Schools is seeking a dynamic and knowledgeable JH/HS Computer Teacher to join our close-knit educational team. This is a great opportunity to teach in a supportive rural school setting with small class sizes, allowing for meaningful student engagement and individualized instruction.

Responsibilities:
-Teach computer science and technology courses to junior high and high school students
-Stay current with evolving educational technology and integrate up-to-date computer curriculum
-Utilize Google Classroom and other digital tools to enhance instruction and communication
-Serve as the Yearbook Sponsor, guiding students in the creation and publication of the school yearbook
-Foster a positive learning environment that encourages student growth and curiosity in the digital age

Required Qualifications -Valid Oklahoma teaching certification
-Strong knowledge of modern computer applications, coding, digital literacy, and educational software
Preferred Qualifications -Experience or willingness to learn yearbook production tools (e.g., Jostens, Adobe Suite, Canva)
-Proficiency with Google Workspace for Education (Docs, Slides, Sheets, Classroom, etc.)
-Excellent communication, organizational, and classroom management skills
