Position: Part-Time Elementary Physical Education Teacher & Elementary Basketball Coach
Location: DCLA Elementary School, Deer Creek, Oklahoma
Start Date: 2025-2026 School Year

DCLA Public Schools is seeking a motivated and energetic Part-Time Elementary PE Teacher who will also serve as the Elementary Basketball Coach. This is a great opportunity to be part of a supportive rural school district where staff collaboration and student success are a top priority.

Responsibilities:
-Provide engaging and developmentally appropriate physical education instruction to elementary students (PreK–6th grade)
-Promote health, fitness, teamwork, and sportsmanship through fun and inclusive activities
-Coach the Elementary Basketball Teams, including practices, teaching fundamentals, and supervising games
-Create a safe and encouraging environment where all students feel supported and motivated

Required Qualifications -Oklahoma teaching certification in Physical Education or related field (or be eligible to obtain)
-Experience working with elementary-aged children in an educational or coaching capacity
-Knowledge of youth fitness, movement standards, and age-appropriate sports instruction
-Strong communication, leadership, and organizational skills
-Passion for promoting physical activity and healthy lifestyles
