Assist principal in successful completion of his/her job targets.
Use leadership, supervisory and administrative skills to promote the educational development of each high school student.
Help establish and maintain an effective learning climate.
Perform all duties of principal in his/her absence or as assigned.
Help establish guidelines for proper conduct with appropriate consequences for inappropriate behavior. Help supervise and facilitate the teaching process.
Help in the selection and supervision of building personnel.
Supervise the daily use of facilities for both academic and nonacademic purposes.
Keep abreast of changes and developments in the profession by attending meetings, reading professional journals and other publications, especially as it pertains to elementary education.
Assist in development, revision and evaluation of the curriculum.
Help plan, organize and direct school activities making provisions for proper supervision and safety.
Other duties as may be assigned
