Description

The School Counselor will serve students in both the elementary and high school levels,
supporting academic achievement, social-emotional development, and college/career
readiness. The counselor will collaborate with educators, parents, and community
agencies to create a safe and supportive learning environment in accordance with the
American School Counselor Association (ASCA) model and Oklahoma State
Department of Education (OSDE) guidelines. This position reports directly to the building
principals at each assigned site.
Required Qualifications Education: Master’s degree in School Counseling or related field.
Certification: Valid Oklahoma School Counselor Certification.
Experience: At least 2 years of classroom or reading intervention experience.
Preferred: Master’s degree in Reading, Literacy, or a related area.
