Description

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Elementary Educator to join our team, focusing on 7th and 8th grade English instruction alongside foundational elementary education responsibilities. The ideal candidate will be enthusiastic about creating a nurturing and engaging learning environment that promotes academic growth and personal development for students. This role requires effective communication skills, creativity in lesson planning, and the ability to foster a positive classroom culture.

- Develop and implement engaging lesson plans for elementary education and English Language Arts for 7th and 8th-grade students.
- Utilize a variety of instructional strategies, technology, and resources to meet the diverse needs of students.
- Assess and evaluate student performance, providing timely feedback and support to help them achieve their academic goals.
- Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes student participation and collaboration.
- Collaborate with other educators, staff, and parents to support student learning and development.
- Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance teaching skills and stay current with educational practices.
- Maintain classroom management and behavioral standards in accordance with school policies.
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for students with special needs when required.
Required Qualifications OSDE Teaching Certification
Preferred Qualifications - Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education or a related field.
- Valid Oklahoma teaching certification for elementary education and English Language Arts for grades 7-8.
- Strong knowledge of curriculum development and instructional strategies for both elementary and middle school levels.
- Proven experience in teaching English to middle school students is highly desirable.
- Exceptional communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
