Description

Whitesboro High School is seeking a dedicated and passionate High School Math Teacher to join our educational team. The ideal candidate will inspire students to develop a deep understanding and appreciation of mathematics, fostering critical thinking and problem-solving skills that will serve them both academically and in their future endeavors.

- Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that align with state standards and curriculum requirements.
- Create a positive learning environment that encourages student participation and growth.
- Assess and evaluate student progress through regular assignments, tests, and projects.
- Collaborate with other faculty members to share resources and best practices.
- Communicate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues regarding student performance and any concerns that may arise.
- Participate in ongoing professional development to enhance teaching skills and stay current with educational trends and mathematics education.
- Foster a supportive classroom atmosphere that promotes diversity and inclusivity.
Required Qualifications OSDE Teaching Certification
Preferred Qualifications - Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Education, or a related field.
- Valid teaching certification in mathematics for grades 9-12 in Oklahoma.
- Strong knowledge of high school math curricula and state education standards.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to engage and motivate high school students.
