Description | JOB DESCRIPTION: INSTRUCTIONAL COACH POSITION SUMMARY: ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Facilitates teachers' understanding and implementation of the Oklahoma Academic Standards Facilitates teachers' understanding of the Mid-Del teacher evaluation elements and process Collaborates with other coaches and principals, traveling among multiple school sites Develops teachers' capacity to collect and analyze multiple sources of data to improve student learning Creates detailed coaching plans that include focused goals and measures of success while providing direct and ongoing feedback to achieve goals Studies to become an expert in district initiatives and leads professional development workshops for sites, the district, and professional conferences as needed Tracks student progress to assess the effectiveness of teaching, learning, and coaching following state compliance with the Reading Sufficiency Act. Maintains all site Title I budgets and purchases, including tutor time sheets, stipends, quotes from vendors, bids and requisitions, inventory, and justification of purchases aligned to the Title I school-wide plan Executes and collaborates with administrators on the Title I school-wide plan. Additional duties that may be assigned by the immediate supervisor or above. |
Required Qualifications | QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS: Ability to perform each essential duty satisfactorily Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college/university Current Oklahoma Teaching Certificate Ability to design and deliver quality professional development for teachers Minimum of three years of successful teaching experience |
