Oklahoma Union Public Schools is seeking an innovative superintendent to serve 565 students across one elementary, one middle, and one high school, supported by 49 certified and 36 support employees.

• Academic Success: Oklahoma Union High School ranks among the top-performing schools in Northeast Oklahoma and scores above the state average on the ACT. The district has earned OSSAA Academic State Champion honors four times, provides free onsite and online tutoring for all students, and demonstrates steady improvement across state accountability indicators.
• Athletic Excellence: The district has had multiple state qualifiers, runners-up and champions in cross country, track, and baseball.
• Fine Arts Achievement: The “Beat of the Cougars” band is a four-time state champion and consistent state qualifier. Students have earned honors in the National and Oklahoma FFA Choirs, and new programs in journalism, drama and art are expanding creative opportunities for grades 6–12.
• College & Career Readiness: Through GEAR UP for Life, partnerships with local colleges and trade schools, and four onsite CareerTech programs, students gain access to leadership development, mentorship and real-world experience. The district proudly celebrates current state officers in FFA and FCCLA and the state champion cattle grading team.
• Community Connection: Supported by the OKU Education Foundation and an active PTO, the district benefits from generous community involvement, scholarships and resources that enhance student learning and staff support. The on-campus Cougar Cub Learning Den provides childcare for staff, reflecting Oklahoma Union’s commitment to family and work-life balance.
