Senior Executive Director of Support and Accountability

Position Summary:
The Senior Executive Director of Support and Accountability is a pivotal role within Oklahoma City Public Schools, dedicated to fostering an environment that upholds the district's vision of providing equitable access to a world-class education. This position is responsible for supervising the implementation and maintenance of effective educational technologies, data systems, and assessment programs that align with the district's strategic goals. The role ensures rigorous evaluation and continuous improvement in instructional quality, driving initiatives that prepare all students to fulfill their unique purposes in a healthy, vibrant community. Key responsibilities include leading the development of technology strategies, overseeing comprehensive student assessment systems, and ensuring that all educational and administrative practices contribute to a robust and accountable educational system.

Required Qualifications 1. Master's Degree in Educational Leadership, Curriculum and Instruction, Technology Application, or related field.
2. Current teaching or administrator certification issued by the Oklahoma State Department of Education
3. A minimum of 5 years of experience supporting an educational environment, including computer technology
4. Strong data analysis skills
5. Ability to lead change initiatives resulting in improved academic achievement 
6. Effective, positive human relations abilities in working with students, parents, teachers, support staff, administrators, governmental agencies, businesses, and community groups
7. Knowledge of best practices, continuous improvement strategies, and high expectations for performance; commitment to maintaining high standards and increasing accountability for results at all levels
8. Effective listening and written and  verbal communication skills
9. Excellent public relations, leadership, facilitation, management, decision-making, and collaboration skills
Preferred Qualifications 1. Doctoral degree in an education or other related field  of study
