Description

Canton High School is seeking a qualified and enthusiastic Family and Consumer Sciences (FACS) Teacher to join our instructional team. The ideal candidate will be committed to student success, relationship-building, and delivering engaging, standards-based instruction.

Qualifications:
Oklahoma teaching certification in Family and Consumer Sciences (or ability to obtain)
Strong classroom management and communication skills
Ability to create a positive, student-centered learning environment
Willingness to collaborate with colleagues and support school initiatives

Responsibilities Include:
Teaching FACS courses aligned with Oklahoma Academic Standards
Preparing students with life skills related to family, career readiness, nutrition, and consumer education
Maintaining a safe and organized classroom and lab environment
Participating in professional development and school activities
