Position Overview
The High School Principal serves approximately 280+ students in grades 9th – 12th and is responsible for the overall leadership, administration, and supervision of the high school, ensuring a safe, positive, and academically rigorous learning environment where all students can succeed.
The High School Principal will lead efforts to improve student achievement, support high-quality teaching, learning, and foster a culture of accountability, respect, and continuous improvement. This position works collaboratively with district leadership, faculty, staff, students, families, and the community to advance the district’s mission and vision.
Key Responsibilities
• Provide visionary leadership to ensure a safe, engaging, and inclusive school culture.
• Study and address the educational needs of the community through data-informed planning.
• Oversee the development, implementation, and evaluation of curriculum and student programs.
• Supervise and support teachers, support staff, and other school personnel.
• Communicate effectively with district leadership regarding staffing, resources, and instructional needs.
• Promote strong school–community relationships through regular outreach and transparent communication.
• Ensure compliance with state laws, board policies, and district procedures.
• Manage school operations, including student enrollment, safety drills, inventory, and fiscal practices.
• Coordinate services from resource personnel to enhance classroom instruction.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Superintendent or the Board of Education.

Required Qualifications Master’s Degree in Educational Leadership or related field.
Valid Oklahoma Secondary Principal Certification or eligibility for certification.
Successful teaching experience required.


Preferred Qualifications Administrative experience preferred
Demonstrated success in leading and managing a secondary level school building.
Positive, collaborative leadership style.
Proven record of improving student achievement and state assessment performance.
