| Required Qualifications | Bachelor’s degree in Family and Consumer Sciences or related field Valid state teaching certification (or ability to obtain) in FACS or appropriate area Strong classroom management and instructional skills Ability to build positive relationships with students and families Experience with hands-on, project-based learning preferred Experience teaching at the secondary level Background in culinary arts, nutrition, or child development Familiarity with career and technical education (CTE) pathways |
