Paoli Public School is seeking a dedicated, highly effective Elementary Education Teacher. The ideal candidate is a skilled practitioner committed to fostering a high-expectations, supportive classroom culture where every student can achieve academic growth. 

This position reports directly to the Building Principal. It is evaluated annually in compliance with the Oklahoma Teacher and Leader Effectiveness (TLE) evaluation system. 

Key Responsibilities

1. Instruction & Curriculum Alignment
Standards-Based Design: Design and execute rigorous, daily lesson plans aligned to the Oklahoma Academic Standards (OAS).
Active Monitoring & Adjustment: Regularly assess student understanding in real-time. Actively monitor independent and guided practice, modifying instructional delivery on the fly to address gaps. 
High-Leverage Routines: Implement structured classroom procedures and routines to maximize academic learning time and maintain a highly focused, positive environment. 
Differentiated Support: Utilize data-driven small-group instruction and targeted interventions to meet the diverse needs of all learners.

2. Classroom Culture & Student Relations
High Expectations: Cultivate a warm-strict classroom environment where academic effort is celebrated and positive behavior is explicitly taught, modeled, and reinforced.
Safety & Trust: Build strong, respectful partnerships with students and families. Establish a predictable, physically and emotionally safe learning space. 

3. Professional Growth & Collaboration
TLE & PL Focus: Collaborate annually with site administration to establish and execute a personalized Professional Learning Focus (PL Focus) aligned to the district's TLE qualitative rubric. 
Collaborative Teams (PLCs): Actively participate in Professional Learning Communities, data team meetings, and grade-level planning to align instruction vertically and horizontally.
Reporting & Compliance: Maintain accurate, timely records of student attendance, progress, and interventions in accordance with district policies and Oklahoma State Department of Education (OSDE) guidelines.
