Description

Newkirk High School is seeking a dedicated and passionate educator to join our team as the Head Girls Wrestling Coach and Secondary Teacher. The ideal candidate will have a background in competitive wrestling and a proven track record of developing student-athletes both on and off the mat. Additionally, the candidate must be qualified to teach Secondary English or Social Studies, providing an engaging academic experience in the classroom.

Required Qualifications *Valid [State] Teaching Certification in Secondary English or Secondary Social Studies (or eligibility to obtain certification).
Preferred Qualifications *Prior coaching experience in wrestling (head coaching or collegiate-level experience preferred).
*Comprehensive knowledge of wrestling rules, strategies, and safety protocols.
*Excellent leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
*Valid CPR, First Aid, and AED certifications (or willingness to obtain prior to the season).
