The special education teacher will be responsible to work with students with disabilities, their families, and their teachers, in an collaborative effort to allow them to access the general curriculum in the least restrictive environment. They will also develop Individualized Education Programs, attend and/or run IEP meetings, and complete other duties that will benefit their students.
This teaching position is located in the 5th largest high school in the state of Kansas (by 2019-2020 enrollment count). Our agency also serves school districts with total district enrollment of less than 200. Large or small, we serve them all!
This position will start January 2021.

Our agency is a special education interlocal. We provide special education services to 14 school districts across Southwestern Kansas; this is more than 10,000 square miles. We employ more than 500 people and our central office is located in Dodge City, Kansas.
