Description

Responsibilities and Essential Functions:

Technical maintenance, archiving, support and recovery for the district centralized student management system (Infinite Campus), and underlying software architecture (MS SQL, Windows Server, IIS, and ASP.Net).
Develop, Maintain, distribute, archive and execute or train district employees with custom reporting tools, utilizing Crystal Reports, Microsoft SQL Server Reporting Services (MS SSRS), Microsoft SQL Server (MS SQL), and Microsoft Excel.
Data Maintenance, including backup/recovery, data mapping, data caching, data cleaning, optimization and troubleshooting using Microsoft SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS) and Microsoft SQL Server Management Studio.
Administration of Microsoft SQL Server Reporting Server Integration Services (SSIS), Infinite Campus, Microsoft SQL Server Integration (SSIs), and 3rd party data access and transformation for Student Interoperability Framework (SIF) agents.
Document data processes, reporting methods, and data schedules.
Research OKSDE policy and procedure changes, adapting student information systems as needed.
General software research, assessment, and support.
Other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications Job Objectives:

Provide successful administration of the district’s student data systems including: student management systems, reporting system, and custom applications. Improve accuracy, performance, reliability, stability, and accessibility for storing, recovering, archiving and reporting student data. Ensure system stability and recovery for district RDBMS systems and centralized software for student information and reporting systems, as well as their supporting software. Ensure systems operate and are used in compliance with OKSDE and district policies and procedures.


Minimum Qualifications:

Serve as the technical advisor, provide support and share responsibilities with the Information Systems department as needed. Skills and Abilities Required:

Bachelors' Degree in Computer Information Systems OR 5 years' experience in an administrative position
Experience with SQL, Oracle, Crystal Reports and Microsoft .net
Be able to protect the confidentiality of information pertaining to students, staff and program matters as appropriate
Ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines
Knowledge of data modelling and data visualization tools
Ability to exercise initiative and sound judgment
Ability to react resourcefully to varying conditions

A National Criminal History Record Check is required of every employee. Background checks are $59 and are the responsibility of the employee. Information on how to obtain a background check will be given by the Human Resources office after you have been hired for a position.

If you are selected for the job for which you applied, you will receive a phone call from the Human Resources office regarding the selection. If you accept the job offer, an appointment will be set up for you to complete some paperwork for your personnel file and payroll office. Please bring your driver's license and social security card.
