Description
Seminole Public Schools has an opening for a special education teacher with a positive, uplifting character and genuine love for student learning. Candidates need certification and competencies in mild/ moderate instruction and/or severe/ profound instruction. Preference for experience and mastery of the SDE's Ed-Plan.
Required Qualifications
Bachelors Degree; Valid Oklahoma Teaching Certification; Special Education Certification)
Preferred Qualifications
Mild/ Moderate and/or Severe/ Profound teaching experience preferred. Experience and mastery of the SDE's Ed-Plan is also preferred. This position will be expected to work with the teachers, administrators, and parent representatives to develop and write IEP's and BIP's. Must be competent in the ability to differentiate instruction and curriculum with students according to their specific academic learning needs. Communication with parents and hosting stakeholders meetings is expected.
