Piedmont Public Schools is home to over 4,650 students, grades pre-k thru 12. High school students enjoy flexible scheduling, concurrent enrollment, AP courses, Career-Tech programs, and more in a variety of blended learning opportunities. Students' academic success is demonstrated in above-the-state-average ACT scores, an 87% college admission rate among seniors, and this year, fourteen eligible candidates for Academic All-State. This fall, the $20 million renovation to PHS will complete. This renovation includes additional classrooms, library-media center, science labs, and food court. In addition to academic excellence, students are involved in 20+ athletic and activity organizations. Nine competing sports were 5A state qualifiers and the Girls' Fast Pitch Softball and Girls' Basketball teams are reigning State Champions. Come join our team!

Performance Responsibilities:
• Promotes collaborative and positive school culture through relations with faculty, families, students, and community members.
• Promotes environment where principals and faculty are visible and accessible to students, family, and community members.
• Coordinates parent, faculty and student groups to enhance educational programs and activities.
• Assists in the recruitment, selection, retention, evaluation, promotion and assignment of personnel.
• Provides instructional leadership in developing and implementing educational programs designed to meet the needs of all students and to meet accreditation standards.
• Leads the improvement of student achievement through faculty collaboration, developing and implementing site improvement plans, goals and action plan.
• Coordinates professional development activities for faculty and staff that align to specific site needs.
• Assures implementation of state standards and district curriculum.
• Supervises all school activities.
• Supervises student conduct, implements disciplinary procedures and maintains disciplinary records.
• Implements and promotes district, state, and federal laws, policies and procedures.
• Establishes and updates site crisis plan and exercises decisive leadership in crisis situations.
• Manages and supervises student data systems, including attendance and grades.
• Coordinates with appropriate child nutrition personnel to identify student eligibility for federal programs.
• Manages budgets, requisitions, receipts, and records according to instructional, supply and equipment needs.
• Performs other duties as assigned by the supervisor.

Terms of Employment: Number of calendar days and compensation based on approved certified schedule and employee work calendars

Evaluation: Evaluation by site superintendent or superintendent’s designee in accordance with BOE policy DNAA Evaluation of Administrative Personnel

Physical Demands:
• Ability to routinely and continually bend, squat, stand, walk, or climb stairs.
• Ability to do outside duties in inclement weather.

Required Qualifications Valid secondary principal certificate issued by the Oklahoma State Department of Education
Preferred Qualifications Seeking dynamic, student-centric individual committed to excellence for all students. Qualified candidates will hold a master's degree and have proven experience leading educators and students.
