| Description | Job Function: Responsible for the instructions of Driver’s Education curriculum in accordance with the Job Corps requirements and program specification. Demonstrates on-going commitment to preparing young people for the workforce by modeling, mentoring and monitoring excellence in the eight Career Success Standards. Duties and Responsibilities: • Counsels and motivates students regarding behavior, training, personal and/or study habits and problems. • Individualizes the Driver’s Education curriculum to fit the students’ experiences. • Prepares reports, monthly student evaluations, and maintains a classroom environment conductive to learning. • Performs other duties as assigned. Education and Experience Requirements: Oklahoma Teaching certification for Driver’s Education and Safety in the State of Oklahoma. Valid states driver’s license with acceptable driving record. |
| Required Qualifications | Teacher Certified with Driver Ed endorsement. |
| Preferred Qualifications | Prefer experience working with high school and young adults. |
