Shawnee Public Schools' Board of Education is seeking applicants for Superintendent of Schools beginning with the 2023-2024 school year. Shawnee Schools is 5A school serving grades K-12. The Superintendent shall be the chief administrative officer for the District. They are responsible for the effective operation of the District, for the general administration of all instructional, business or other operations of the District, and for advising and making recommendations to the Board of Education with respect to such activities. They shall perform all the duties and accept all of the responsibilities usually required of a Superintendent as prescribed by the Education Laws of The State of Oklahoma. Required Qualifications Credentials: Superintendent Certificate
Education: Masters in Education required; Doctorate in Education preferred.
Training or Experience Required: 8-10 years of school administration experience.
