Responsible for effective relevant instruction of mathematics for students enrolled in the Biomedical Sciences and Pre-Engineering programs.
To provide effective instruction in mathematic courses, such as Geometry, Algebra II, Pre-Calculus and AP Calculus.
Pre-plan all units of instruction, identifying information, supplies and equipment needed, as well as implementing the appropriate method of instruction.
Identify appropriate methods necessary for involving all students in theory and application of mathematics concepts.
Work with immediate supervisor for constant student and program evaluation, improvement, and planning.
Utilize proper procedures for purchasing, administrative duties, budget information, student attendance, student grades and student activities, etc.
Serve as a role model for students as demonstrated by dress, work ethics, professionalism, technical knowledge and taking pride in the vocation.
Prepare and submit reports and other documents as required by the Board of Education, Central Tech Administration, the Oklahoma Department of Career Tech Education, and the Oklahoma State Department of Education
Attend all faculty/staff meetings, professional training, school meetings, and functions as required.
Maintain memberships in educational and related professional organizations.
Uphold the policies and procedures of the Central Tech Board of Education.
