| Description | Rural district in Southwestern Oklahoma nestled at the foot of Quartz Mountain near Lugert Lake, seeks a bus driver that has a heart for kids and safe driving record. Must be able to transport students to and from school and other sites within designated route(s) and to ensure the safety of the student passengers while in a school vehicle. Maintenance experience is a plus but not required! |
| Required Qualifications | High school diploma or equivalent. Health and Inoculation Certificate on file in the central office (after employment offer is made). Complete state-required physical examination for bus drivers (after employment offer is made). Valid Oklahoma CDL with all required endorsements, or the willingness/ability to obtain one On your CDL do you have the Passenger (P) Endorsement? On your CDL do you have the School (S) Endorsement? Meet all state requirements for bus drivers, including defensive driving, CPR, and first aid certification. At least one year experience in driving some type of motor vehicle (which may be a private automobile), including experience throughout each of the four seasons. Successfully complete behind-the-wheel training. Desire to continue career improvement by enhanced skills and job performance. |
