| Description | Quinton Public School is accepting applications for the position of Band Director/HS/UE Instrumental Music Teacher for the 2023-2024 school year. Quinton is located minutes from Lake Eufaula & 35 miles NE of McAlester, in beautiful Southeast Oklahoma. The school serves approximately 400 students from diverse backgrounds. Quinton Schools has had a great band program for well over 50 years. Points of pride: Quinton was a 2015-16 OSSAA Class 2A Sweepstakes Band, a 2014-15 OSSAA Class 2A Outstanding Achievement Band, 2021-22 Superior Rating at OSSAA Southeastern Regional Marching Contest. The Quinton community is very supportive of its school. Quinton is building a new $3.99M Cafeteria. Quinton Public School is seeking applicants that can continue on past successes & re-establish Quinton as one of the best Class 2A band programs in the State.
