The student-centered district focuses on project-based and hands-on learning, including a state-of-the-art science program with a STEM lab for 5th-8th-grade students and an aviation program for high school students. More than seven career-technology courses are also available. The district’s career development coordinator keeps students on task to graduate, provides juniors with opportunities to complete in-house internships and meets with community plant managers to acquire apprenticeships for students their senior year. The district is home to 223 employees who work daily to help students grow and reach their greatest potential. The district provides DHS-certified childcare for the children of employees.
