| Description | Under the direction of the district Administration, the Activities Director (AD) will plan, direct and review the activities and operations of student activities and student organizations for Bethany Public Schools. The AD will provide a student activities program that meets the educational and social needs of students and in relation to the school and community. The AD will coordinate all OSSAA programs and evaluate coach and activity sponsor performance. The AD will create a vision for all activity programs and ensure this vision is carried out. The AD is the point of contact for parents who have questions or concerns about Bethany Public Schools activities that have not been addressed by the coach or sponsor of their child’s activity. |
| Required Qualifications | A bachelor’s degree and Oklahoma Teaching Certificate required. Have or acquire a CDL with bus driving endorsement. |
| Preferred Qualifications | Master’s Degree preferred. A minimum of 3 years teaching experience is preferred, and a minimum of 3 years coaching experience at the high school level is preferred, and a minimum of 2 years of administrative experience is preferred. |
