| Description | Fort Towson Public Schools is looking for a speech language pathologist for the 2024-2025 school year. Fort Towson Public Schools is a PK-12 small rural school district located in southeastern Oklahoma. All applicants must be fully licensed and accredited in the state of Oklahoma. Knowledge, skills and abilities required at this level include knowledge of the pathology of communication disorders; of phonetics; of the anatomy and physiology of the speech and hearing function; and of diagnostic testing and treatment techniques for communication disorders. Ability is required to discuss communication disorders with the IEP team and families; to plan and execute treatment programs; and to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing. Pay will be based on experience in the field. In addition applicants must be willing to take on responsibilities in overseeing the dyslexia program and RTI interventions for the District.
