Description

Gore Schools is accepting applications and letters of interest for upper elementary and high school principal for the 2024-2025 school year. Job duties will be to oversee instructional and support staff at our high school campus location; grades 6-12.
Gore is a class A school with 500 students and 250 in grades 6-12. There are two offices with secretaries, one for each site designation (6-8 and 9-12). We enjoy great community support and are looking for a qualified candidate to be a positive role model to lead our students and staff. 11 or 12 month contract options with HIGHLY competitive pay and benefits.

Required Qualifications Oklahoma Secondary Principal Certificate or eligible to obtain same required with a clean background check. Must pass drug and Alcohol screening. OSDE Evaluator Certification or eligible to obtain. Compliance of Federal & State Laws, OSDE Regulations and District Policy required.
Preferred Qualifications Preference given to candidates with experience in managing instructional staff, curriculum evaluation and development, dealing with student issues, daily organization of activities, and parental-community engagement.
Organization, public relation skills, problem solving, working with staff for positive student outcomes, state reporting, recruiting qualified staff, and creating a positive learning environment a must. Knowledge of Sylogist Student Information system and google documents skills or the ability to learn will be needed.
