| Description | Wetumka Public School is seeking to hire a certified PK-12 school counselor for the 2024-2025 school year. We are looking for an experienced and caring school counselor to join our staff. You will assist our students in navigating through difficult academic or social situations. Academic dilemmas may include determining which courses to take, how to prepare college applications, and understanding college requirements. Students may also need support with personal issues that are affecting them at school or at home. You will provide counseling sessions as needed. Applicants must have excellent interpersonal and communication skills, be highly organized, and be able to work within a team environment. |
