Description

Provide Athletic Training services to middle school and high school student-athletes.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Assist current athletic training staff with providing health care services as assigned, with emphasis on middle school athletics
2. Professional communication with athletes, parents/guardians, coaches, school staff, administrators, etc.
3. Maintain adequate medical records on injuries and rehabilitation procedures
4. Comply with any and all policies regarding health care delivery as indicated by the school district’s regulations
5. Establish a working relationship with school nursing staff
6. Assist with purchasing athletic training supplies/equipment and keeping inventory
7. Maintain current athletic training certification, continuing education, and standards of professional practice requirements as set forth by the National Athletic Trainers’ Association, the Board of Certification, and the Oklahoma State Board of Medical Licensure and Supervision
8. Maintain current CPR/Emergency Cardiac Care certification
9. Coordinate daily duties with Head Athletic Trainer
10. Other duties as assigned
Required Qualifications Minimum Bachelor’s degree (Master’s preferred) in related field from an accredited university.
Athletic Training Certification (BOC)
Current or acquired Oklahoma Athletic Training License
Current CPR/Emergency Cardiac Care Certification
