CREDENTIALING SPECIALIST
CareerTech Testing Center
Serves as a liaison on the statewide usage of credentials within the Oklahoma CareerTech system in conjunction with various industry partners. Collaborates to increase awareness of credentials and badging available within our system, portability of credentials from a secondary to post-secondary level, and the value of credentials and badging within industry.

Position based in Stillwater, OK. Frequent travel.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Collaborate with internal/external partners to identify and evaluate credentials within the various levels and that align with the agency’s strategic purposes.
2. Coordinate with program areas within CareerTech to determine needs, usage, and value of credentials outlined within the instructional framework.
3. Establish partnerships to determine the value and portability of credentials.
4. Market the CareerTech Testing Center to internal/external customers to expand knowledge on the services available within the division.
5. Expand the use of badging within the CareerTech system through increased real-time reporting and working with sites on establishing procedures around the reporting needs.
6. Collaborate with agency staff/partners on opportunities to expand and enhance assessment partnerships by connecting partners with the CareerTech Testing Center.
7. Coordinate with the Assessment Manager to communicate an Oklahoma CTE assessment strategy tied to frameworks, occupations, and performance measures.
8. Develop marketing materials to promote initiatives.
9. Represents the CareerTech Testing Center and the agency at public and private sector meetings to explain the functions, procedures, and guidelines concerning credentials, badging, and other related initiatives.

Salary/Benefits: $56,985.95 - $65,000.00 commensurate with education or experience. Total salary and benefits package valued at $69,536.53 - $79,718.37.

Required Qualifications EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
REQUIRED:
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience in related field
• Three years’ experience in education, research, testing, evaluation, or career and technology education
Preferred Qualifications PREFERRED:
• Master’s degree
• Knowledge of education systems
