Job Summary
The Principal serves as the instructional leader of the elementary school. This involves ensuring the students are learning and the teachers are growing in their practice; ensuring the safety and security of all students, teachers, and staff every day; resolving issues that arise during the day-to-day functions of an elementary school; and telling the school’s and the district’s story to parents and the community through newsletters and social media platforms.

Monitor school activity at arrival, dismissal, lunch, recess, hallways, and classrooms to ensure safety of students and staff, as well as making sure procedures are being implemented appropriately.

QUALIFICATIONS
Required
Education: Master's or Professional Degree (M.Ed., M.A.T, M.B.A, M.S.N., M.D., J.D., etc.)
Masters in Educational Leadership (M.Ed.)
Certifications, Licenses, Registrations: Teaching certificate & Elementary Principal certificate, CPR, Diabetes, CPI
Previous Experience: 
4-6 years work-related experience is required
