The Licensed Professional Counselor/Social Worker/ Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist position will work closely with the building administrative team as well as the building school counseling team to coordinate, facilitate, and implement mental health support services for students and staff members. The Licensed Professional Counselor/Social Worker/ Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist position will work with a district-level administrative team and Director of Student Services to coordinate support services across the district. The Licensed Professional Counselor/Social Worker/Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist will provide emotional support and foster a safe and successful learning environment for students and staff in elementary, junior high, and high schools. The primary focus will be on building students' capacity for academic success and positive social and emotional well-being.
Performance Expectations:

Job Description
Summary/objective
The position supports an OkAPEX sub-center office located at Great Plains Technology Center.
Essential functions
· Plan, coordinate and conduct technical and non-technical training seminars and workshops.
· Conduct outreach to businesses about government contracting opportunities with federal, state and local governments as well as prime contractors.
· Develop and maintain relationships with other business resource partners and with federal, state, and local government agencies and prime contractors.
· Guide businesses through the process of finding, bidding, and performing on government contracts and subcontracts and assessing their capacity/suitability for government contracting.
· Assist business with government registrations and certifications related to selling to the government, finding opportunities, marketing to government buyers, bidding and receiving compensation for services and/or products, drafting and submitting proposals to and for government entities, interpreting and understanding government regulations, attend workshops and provide one on one coaching with the business utilizing all forms of communication.
· Enroll businesses in the OkAPEX electronic bid match service.
· Meet or exceed program goals for number of counseling sessions, events, etc.
· Document client interactions in appropriate systems.
· Collaborate with other OkAPEX counselors throughout the state to share best practices.
· Participates with business and economic development resource partners in the presentation of conferences, award events, business training activities, various outreach initiatives, and special projects.
· Complete training courses that are relevant to the needs of clients and attend OkAPEX training events as budget allows.
· Maintain a plan room for construction clients and keeping those clients informed of all construction opportunities.

Work environment
The position typically works in an office environment, but this position may require work in community, industrial or other settings. A standard work week is typically required, but this position may require evening and/or weekend hours to accommodate activities such as school functions, travel, emergency situations, Board meetings and representation of Great Plains at public events.
Physical demands
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to remain stationary, move/position objects, move about their office, building and/or across campus and communicate with staff, clients, and other stakeholders. Employee may be required to perform extensive work at a computer display terminal.
Travel required
Occasional travel within and outside of the Great Plains Technology Center district may be required for events, professional development, and participation in other Great Plains Technology Center activities.
Required education and experience
· Bachelor’s Degree with an emphasis in business or related field OR minimum of five years of experience in government procurement policies and contracting.
· Ability to attain the Certified Procurement Professional designation within 5 years.
· Must not be an individual identified by the Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs as ineligible to receive federal contracts.
