This is a full-time, 12-month position working at our Lawton campus located at 4500 SW Lee Blvd., Lawton, OK 73505.
The marketing and communications coordinator provides creative direction, graphic design, and project management in production of all marketing materials, including but not limited to printed and digital publications and other promotional materials; provides assistance in developing strategy and budget for traditional and digital advertising; assists with student recruitment and other school events; writes and pitches GPTC news stories to the media on a regular basis and maintains positive relationships with the media.

Required Qualifications
o Bachelor’s degree in communications or related field, required
o Three years’ experience in public relations, advertising, journalism, marketing, communications, multimedia or related area, required
o Proven ability to write effectively
o Excellent organizational skills and ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
o Experience in creative direction of layout and design
o Familiarity with use of social media for public relations and marketing purposes
o Competence with graphic design software
o Competence with Microsoft Office
