Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Establishes and implements classroom procedures designed to maximize student learning in an environment that is conducive to learning and appropriate to the maturity and interests of the students.
Prepares detailed weekly written lesson plans consistent with Oklahoma Academic Standards specifically designed to teach skills on course curriculum maps and timely submits plans to assigned principal.
Complies with and fully implements all Individualized Education Plans and behavioral or academic interventions.
Maintains a neat and orderly classroom, including the physical arrangement of the room, student records and materials.
Handles routine classroom discipline fairly.
Assists the administration in implementing all policies and rules governing student life and conduct, and, for the classroom, develops reasonable rules of classroom behavior and procedure, and maintains order in the classroom in a fair and just manner.
Attends and participates in all required meetings and conferences, including professional development and planning meetings and continually strives for professional growth.
Maintains complete and accurate student records, including attendance, performance and discipline records.
Provides professional and regular feedback to students and parents, ensuring compliance with all laws and district policies and procedures and communicates regularly with parents by means of notes, phone calls, conferences, and etc.
Utilizes professional behavior in all school related interactions.
Complies with all federal, state and local laws and board policies and procedures.
Uses formative and summative data to guide instruction, plans for student interventions, and communicates progress to parents.
Provides individualized and small group instruction, adapting the curriculum as needed.
Provides a technology enriched environment to support student learning.
Maintains availability to students and parents for education-related purposes outside the instructional day.
Plans and coordinates the work of teacher assistants, parents, and volunteers in the classroom and on field trips.

Summary/objective
The primary responsibility of the instructor is to teach his/her assigned courses to the best of their ability. This responsibility is greater than all other responsibilities assigned. The instructor shall devote all of their professional capabilities, time, and talents to provide a program of meaningful learning opportunities to each student.
Essential functions
· Plan and deliver high-quality instruction: Plan and deliver engaging, rigorous, and standards-based trade and industry instruction that is differentiated to meet the needs of all students. Incorporate relevant technology and project-based learning activities that promote critical thinking, problem-solving, and collaboration according to guidelines established by Oklahoma law, the Oklahoma State Department of Education, board policies, and administrative regulations.
· Develop and assess student learning: Use a variety of assessment tools and strategies to monitor and evaluate student learning and provide timely and constructive feedback to students and parents. Maintain accurate records of student progress and participate in data analysis to inform instructional decision-making.
· Collaborate with colleagues and stakeholders: Work collaboratively with other instructors, school leaders, and stakeholders to develop and implement effective instructional programs and strategies that support student achievement. Participate in school and district committees and communicate regularly with parents and families to build positive relationships and promote student success. Maintain a minimum of five advisory committee members that support and represent all aspects of the industry.
· Maintain a safe and inclusive learning environment: Maintain a safe, orderly, and inclusive learning environment that supports the social, emotional, and academic needs of all students. Establish and enforce clear expectations for student behavior and conduct and address any disciplinary issues in a fair and consistent manner, especially while students are working in the shop area and/or on live work. During breaks and other times that the teacher is out of the shop, work on equipment shall be stopped and the shop will be locked. No one is to be left working in a shop or lab during break time.Take all necessary and reasonable precautions to protect students, equipment, materials, and facilities.
· Student development: Sponsor and actively promote the student organization designated for the assigned program and participate in activities designated by administration. Provide instruction to students on “Job Seeking” training and resume writing and assist students in developing an occupational portfolio. Supervise OJT activities for those students on OJT.
· Engage in ongoing professional development: Stay current with the latest research, trends, and best practices in trade and industry education. Seek out opportunities for self-reflection and growth and be willing to experiment with new instructional strategies and technologies to improve student learning.
· Stay informed: Have knowledge of the rules, policies, procedures, and regulations governing the Great Plains Technology Center and ensure that these rules, regulations, and policies are adhered to by self and all students.
· Prepare: In the event of absence, notify the appropriate administrator and the school receptionist at the earliest possible time. Maintain a current Emergency Lesson Plan

Summary/objective
Clinical faculty will facilitate clinical training of nursing students on-site at the Simulation Center. Clinical faculty shall devote all of his/her professional capabilities, time, and talents to provide program of meaningful learning opportunities to each student. Clinical Faculty will contribute to curriculum development and collaborate to develop and present educational events.
Essential functions
· Develop and Execute Simulated Training Exercises: Develop simulated clinical experiences that allow students to practice both routine and acute skills within the scope of a Practical Nurse and the program curriculum. Ensure and ongoing expansion of available simulations to meet the learning needs of students.
· Assess Competency and Design Remediation: Communicate expectations, evaluate student performance, and collaborate with students and instructors to improve student and patient outcomes.
· Manage Documentation: Record and manage utilization and outcomes data for funding sources. Document student participation and performance for grade reporting. Meet documentation deadlines.
· Foster a Positive and Professional Culture: Establish a welcoming learning environment for students. Have appropriate activities set-up before students arrive. Strive to be an expert of learning resources and focus instructional time on the student experience. Work collaboratively with other instructors, school leaders, and stakeholders to develop and implement effective instructional programs and strategies that support student achievement.
